Every 6 years I have to recertify for my profession. Not just continuing education, but a repeat of the original certifying exam, same as new grads have to take. 300 multiple guess questions on everything..Dermatology, Endocrine, OB/Gyn, Hematology, Oncology, Rheumatology, etc... I didn't enjoy it 13 years ago when I first learned and now I don't remember squat! The only redeeming quality is that it is a take home exam, over 6 weeks long. I think I'll have a heart attack when I have to do the 3 hour exam in another 6 years.

Is it over yet? Hope it all goes well and you get to read some fun books soon.
It went fine. I passed in the 86% percentile... not as good as previous years, but I'll take it just the same!
