Snow in Portland

This was the first snow we had, only 4-5 inches. You can still see the lights on the walkway through the snow. I just love the tree lights in the snow!
Our street wasn't plowed. Neither was the main road out front. It just turned into big ice ruts.
Brian shoveled out a walkway so he could get to the mailbox, but I don't think we got any mail for a few days. Our last "big" snow was January 2007 where we got a whole whopping 3 inches. This year we topped that with 12 inches, the most in the last 40 years for Portland. We've been staying warm and cozy inside and feeling bad for our friends who don't have heated floors. And I have to say I really think Christmas lights on snow are really pretty. Happy Holidays Everyone!
