This year we went home to Maryland for Christmas to see my family, and then headed up to New York to see Amanda and Neill for New Years Eve. We spent a lot of time relaxing around the wood stove at Mom and Dads, going to movies, playing games, and visiting with family. Once we got to New York, it was rice crispie time, fighting our way through a New York grocery store, and a real knock down Settlers of Catan game. We got to practice our skills again on Saturday w/ their friend F, who whopped butt in our 3 hour game after Brian’s excellent Garlic Chicken dinner. Visiting with great friends is a perfect way to bring in the new year! Happy New Year!
