Camping at Deschutes Recreational Area

First camping trip of the season!  It's still so wet in Portland we decided to go east to get some sunshine.  We found it!  Beautiful campground but the blasted trains hoooooooonk hoooooooooonk over the bridges nearby all night long!  Loved W's beer on tap in the camper!  And apparently the rails to trails bike ride was a success for multiple levels of riders.  We hikers enjoyed our nice stroll up and back along the river.  I'll go there again when I'm old and deaf!  Otherwise a great trip :-)
